Best Armor combo non-factions pvp
hey guys, for pvp what would you say is the best armor set or armor combo for a boon prot monk such as myself? i suppose for pve as well though in pve it hardly matters THAT much.
right now i have a full ascetics set but i was wondering if there's anything better NON-FACTIONS like say 2 pieces of censor and 2 pieces of ascetic...etc.
thx in advance

If you are really good with energy
Judge's Atire
Ascetic's Armbands
Judges's Pants
Ascetic's Sandals
If you're not so great an E management, stay with full Ascetic's

ok this is where im confused...if i use censor for chest and legs...and ascetics for hands and feet..isnt that the worst possible combo? why not ascetics for chest and legs and censor for hands and feet? same +10 armor vs physical attacks from each piece (chest, legs, hands, feet all +10 armor vs physical) but you get more energy from ascetics since hands have +1 over censor, feet have +1 over censor, pants have +2 over censor, and chest has a whopping +3 over censor.
if i have censor chest and legs, id be losing 5 energy, while id only lose 2 energy if i used ascetic chest/legs and censor hands/feet for the same +armor vs phys no??

Armor only applies to the slot it's in. A character gets hit the most on the chest/legs so you want the armor bonus from Judge's/Censors in your chest/leg slots.

lol are you serious? and im guessing this is still overall random whether it hits the chest, legs, feet, arms, or head?
so lets SAY chances are head is hit the least..then armor on head matters the least? wow i never knew attacks in GW all fell on random body parts lol.

There is a percentage of hits on each part. Thus under average conditions you will get hit, usually, in the chest / leggs the most. Though depending on how your character is oriented, moving, etc...this can change. The parts you get hit the most in are also the ones that give you the most energy bonus for your Ascetic's. So...if you use the chest / leggs of another set, you might aswell use the whole set as far as i'm concerned. As two energy isn't going to help you too much, and the extra armor if you do get hit in those locations could be alot more beneficial.
Though if you are playing with a PvE character that you made, and are using for PvP you can armor switch. Which would allow you to use full Ascetic's / whatever, until that KD hammer Warrior or whatever started charging towards you.
